Current mood: Feeling gluttonous

Hi agian! Chela here, once agian, to be goofy and say goofy shi about my day. Since I was up for a fairly long amount of time coding, I ended up sleeping in late. As a result, I woke up exactly at noon the next day, and my mother woke me up, asking me if we arent going to do anything for the day.

I was so sleepy tbh. Yet I knew my mother has wanted to go to a pumpkin farm for the upcoming halloween holiday so I worked up the will to get up from the comforts of my bed to go take a shower (having thin hair makes my hair get excessively greasy so fast T_T)

The days have been cold for the most part, so I assumed that today would be no different. However, our weather apps said it was going to be warm today. Yet my dumbahh reasoned that it would be fine if I wore a black jacket over a short sleeved yarn shirt, with fuzzy miniboots. I mean- girl, what were you thinking?

Of course when we actually went to the pumpkin farm I was boiling in my boots. Didn't help that I didn't have my hair tied back either, which led to me warming up even further. I felt a little grumpy for most of the occasion to be quite honest.

We looked at the pumpkins, bought some honey in a cute bear jar from their small shop, and then headed off to our apartment to get a change of clothes, cuz uh- we we're both literally becoming fried chicken. We had the idea to watch the changing of the leaves due to the fall season. We new a good place we could go to, so we decided that once we finished getting changed that we'd immediatly drive onward to the park that we had in mind.

But can you believe it? The place was absolutely PACKED with people. More than we'd ever seen this park get filled. We couldn't even find a parking spot, and we couldn't leave either. We'd gotten stuck in this long line of cars waiting to leave aswell. The trees we had intended to look at were absolutely mobbed with people after people taking photos and posing for pictures. Not for the first time in my life, I honestly felt discomfort of just how populated so many placed are these days. We couldn't even enjoy the passage of trees as much as we could've with the mob of people and cars. Not to mention, the fact that most people were there just to take pictures honestly just saddens me. Most of the adults were there taking their stupid pictures. Only the children seemed genuinally enthralled with the trees beauty. I'm just as dependant of my electronics and laptop as any other young individuals in this era, but please. PUT THE PHONES DOWN, Its important to capture moments, yes, but just seeing the plethora of people posing and worrying over their appearances rather then basking in the view of the autumn trees was depressing af.

That being said, the trees we're still very lovely to look at, and my mother was clearly enjoying taking photos of her own, which was the important part. Made the venture worth it in my eyes.

Afterwards, we went to go eat at Five Guys, which was delicious. But I forgot just how much fries they pack into the bags. My mother didn't wanna eat any fries either so I was all on my own with eating those fries. SPOILER ALERT. Couldnt finish them. T_T

To end off the day, we went to a very small and cute toy shop filled to the brim with so many cute things such as squishmellows, blindboxes, keychains and all sort of cuteness paraphernalia. But most importantly, they had the one. the only, the coveted; CALICO CRITTERSS!!

I got two adorable droopy eared rabbit siblings and I couldnt be more happier about it. I also got a 50th anniversary hello kitty 8" squishmallow to go alongside it. The price wasn't pretty, but these adorable figures and plushies sure are.
